Welcome to the Real Estate InvestHER Show! Today, we are joined by the incredible Brea Burger! Brea learned the value of hard work, professionalism, and determination from her frugal upbringing. After earning a Ph.D. in Biobehavioral Health, she worked as an Assistant Professor in academia. However, a significant life change in 2017/2018 led her to Real Estate Investing and Financial Independence, which offered her a new perspective on life. This experience allowed her to construct a more fulfilling life and inspired her to become an advocate for Financial Independence.
In this episode, Brea shares tips for investing with family and emphasizes the importance of communication and pivoting in real estate. She also talks about the non-intimidating environment they created for women to support each other in investing. Brea's business relationship with her family as silent partners is highlighted, and she discusses how they navigate tough situations. She touches upon challenges faced during the stabilization process and how building a strong partner relationship helped her navigate them successfully.
